updated by the occupiers of 69-76 Chartridge:

Thanks to all those who visited our new protest site yesterday (Wed 18th), for all the things you brought. We were inundated with donations: as well as the flasks, food, fruit, etc, someone even brought us toothbrushes and clean socks! Solidarity rocks!

All words of solidarity are welcome. Come and join us. Or make the fight where you are, wherever you are. Oh and here are a few things we could do with:

WOOD WE CAN BURN IN THE BRAZIER = VITAL FOR WARMTH!

Cooking and eating equipment and other practical stuff

A piano

Spraypaint

Walkie talkies

A few more plates

Tea towels and hand/bath towels

Large bits of fabric, and paint, and chalk

Rope, and a pulley

Gas heaters

Cushions

Fire extinguishers and fire blankets

Wood for construction (furniture etc)

Tools, and things like screws

Blankets and quilts

Hot water bottles

Curtains

Cleaning stuff

Banners and decorations

Rubble sacks and shovels

Wheelbarrows

12V batteries and lights to run off them

Paper to make posters. Or even better, offers to print/photocopy posters (any size from A4 up to A1!) so we can spread the word across South London

Ladders

More footballs, goal posts and outdoor play stuff

Cake

Stuff for making art and decorating and making the place beautiful

People who want to help occupy and fight, or make stuff, do artistic things, run workshops, show films, put on events, clean up and bring life to the place …

  1. Focus E15 campaign

Sending you solidarity from the Focus E15 campaign for your inspiring action. Groups and campaigns that take direct action against council’s social cleansing policies are vital. We look forward to meeting you on Tuesday at your open meeting. WELL DONE. YOU ARE AMAZING.
